The restaurant is very nice and beautifully decorated. I ordered the skillet breakfast and the buttermilk waffles they were good. The staff were also very friendly.
Nice place. Good atmosphere for having a coffee and/or a bite to eat. It seems very popular so we had to wait about 30 minutes for our food. (The coffee wait was only a couple minutes) the food was good and the price was reasonable. I would eat here again or come back for coffee.
I had a gift card to this place, and I'm glad I did! I had a latte with whole milk and the breakfast sandwich. The staff was nice and helpful. They make their own vanilla and grind their own coffee! I really enjoyed this place! The ambiance was amazing, quiet, and sunny. I will definitely return whenever I'm in Norfolk or may take an early morning trip here to enjoy the ambiance.
The atmosphere is awesome - cool decor, cozy and comfortable. There are a lot of tables both inside and outside. A lot of people go in to work/study on their laptops so it was a few minutes before a table opened up. Didn’t have any food but the coffee was perfectly made - frothy without bubbles and very smooth. Service was good and staff was very friendly.
I love this place! I have visited a few times in the past months and have always had a pleasant experience. They have the most kind and enthusiastic staff. The decorations are eclectic in a stimulating manner, and there is lots of ample space whilst still feeling cozy. The coffee is AMAZING!! And their food not only has a ton for options, but is relatively cheep and delicious. This is a wonderful place to have a quick study break, work, snack, play games with friends, etc. Cafe Stella is everything coffee shops try to be all in one. They have a bunch of games that you can play with friends whist catching up and a spectacularly clean bathroom. This is truly a gem of a coffee place. The great food, wonderful environment, and helpful staff will keep me coming back to this place for ages. I heavily recommend for anyone in the area for a cute little break from reality.
Had such a great night here! My handsome date and I were lucky enough to attend the first Valentine's dinner and Jazz night! Music was great and inviting. It was a busy evening so service was a little slow, but the owner was amazing. She checked on us several times, kept us updated on our food, and handled everything so well. You could tell they really cared about everyone having a good experience. Definitely coming back for another jazz night!

And don’t even get me started on their lattes; the barista knows what’s up! The staff is super friendly without being overbearing, which I really appreciate. It’s the kind of spot you’ll want to bring a friend to or just chill solo with a book. Definitely a new favorite!
Love coming here for breakfast. Portions are just a bit small but filling and delicious. The atmosphere is the best and the hours are great, you don't feel rushed through breakfast or brunch which is rare for some cafe-style places. Parking can be kind of tricky especially on weekends and mornings so if you're within walking distance, definitely recommend that (or just avoid peak times)
Sunday morning was my second time at Stella’s, and it’s easy to see why it’s a favorite spot. The staff is always polite and helpful (underrated quality in a coffee shop), the coffee is delicious, the selection of pastries is great, and the hot food offered has been good. I’ve only tried 2 items, but both were very good. The atmosphere is fine, I only gave it four stars because it could be cleaner. The decor Is covered in dust, and coming from a medical background It is hard to ignore how unsanitary it is to have a huge glass bottle with a thick layer of dust directly under an air vent. If they paid for a monthly deep cleaning it would be well worth it. No other complaints, absolutely love the place otherwise.
absolutely great. when I saw the bill for a triple shot latte and a cappuccino was under $9 I'm still having trouble believing it... there's a guy in my neighborhood running a espresso shop out of a horse trailer charging $9 for one drink in the country give me a break.
